I have pushed out the partition associated with the C: drive (partition #4) so I do have unallocated space adjacent to the reserved partition. I have not been able to increase its size using diskpart (volume not found) or minitool (all options to re-size this specific partiton are grayed out). You can see it using diskpart or minitool though.

The reserved partiton (#3 on my laptop) is not visible in the graphical Windows Disk Management utility, and has no volume associated with it.

The only suggestion on the Windows forums (that deal specifically with error 800F0922 for KB2919355) that I have not been able to apply is to increase the size of the 'reserved partition', which is 128 MB in size, and is 100% full on my laptop. I am in the process of trying to install the mandatory Windows update KB2919355 - which fails repeatedly with error code 800F0922.
